Sports
At TIS Puchong, sport plays a vital role in our students’ educational experience. We are a member of two large league organizations - the KL Sports League and AIMS-K. This allows our students to participate in various sports competitions with different schools across states. We currently have over 40 sports teams with the age range from Under-9 to Under-18.
TIS Puchong’s Performing Arts allows students to explore their creative side through dance, music, singing and stage play. Across the year, a number of Performing Arts events are held, ranging from Secondary and Primary annual musical production to smaller music events. Students are not only involved onstage but they are also able to be part of behind the scenes production where they are given the opportunity to learn about lighting, production of props and costumes.
At TIS Puchong, we believe in helping students to discover and develop their skills and talent through the various co-curricular activities (CCAs) ranging from traditional sports to culturally oriented pursuits. With more than 30 activities held each semester, students are able to pursue their interest with the guidance of a dedicated team of teachers. CCA takes place once a week during school hours.
Extra-curricular Activities (ECAs) are optional activities that fall outside the realm of the normal curriculum of schools. These pay-to-participate activities provide students with additional opportunities to further explore their physical, creative and social interests. Our ECAs are conducted by external specialists and held after school hours.
Throughout the year, students at TIS Puchong have organised several fundraising events through the Student Councils and Interact Club. As one of TIS core values emphasises on respecting and caring for each other, our students have raised both funds and means for the underprivileged during events such as Hari Raya and Cultural Day.
