Puchong, 31 January 2021: Seven teachers from Taylor’s International School (TIS) were recently certified as Quantum Learning Site Facilitators, being the first to be awarded this prestigious recognition in Asia.

As qualified Site Facilitators, they are now equipped to train and influence the next generation of teachers utilizing the Quantum Learning system, which is proven to deliver a world-class learning experience that maximises learning for students.

“Our school is deeply committed to delivering high quality learning experiences for our students and this certification is a great example of how we intend to achieve this goal,” Peter Wells, Principal of TIS Kuala Lumpur said.


“Leveraging on the Quantum Learning approach, TIS is empowering its teachers to not only deliver quality classroom content but to also help its students make the most out of every learning opportunity.”

The Quantum Learning methodology, which was developed in the US, uses neuroscience as the basis for its teaching strategies. It seeks to nurture a joyful, meaningful and challenging learning environment for both teachers and students.

So far, it has already positively impacted more than 100,000 educators and millions of students worldwide.

“With such a powerful teaching and learning system in place, students will be more engaged and will experience impactful learning while at TIS,” Stefano Piumatti, Principal of TIS Puchong added.

“TIS upholds a high standard of academic rigour and excellence and we expect to see our students achieve even greater feats in the near future as they are guided by our passionate teachers who are certified Quantum Learning Educators.”

TIS has adopted Quantum Learning as a school-wide teaching system and was recognised as the world’s first Quantum Learning Distinguished School (QLDS) earlier last year.

Quantum Learning in Teaching (Q-LIT)

In line with their objectives, a collaboration between TIS and Taylor’s University (Ranked Top 90 University in Asia) was launched today. The new Quantum Learning in Teaching (Q-LIT) programme provides the opportunity for Taylor’s University School of Education’s students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to experience Quantum Learning at TIS. Q-LIT will allow the students to be fully immersed first-hand in the best teaching and learning practices as they engage with a QLDS recognised school. The experience of working together with such a diverse and robust school community will undoubtedly make them effective teachers.

We want to provide aspiring teachers with the opportunity to be mentored in an international school environment that models best teaching and learning practices,” explained Gan.
