Dear Parents / Guardians
I hope that this new school year has started well for you and your children. It is amazing how quickly we all get back into the school routine and everything gets back to normal. If you have any questions relating to school, please contact your child’s class teacher or year leader.
Some parents will be aware that at the end of January the IGCSE results were released for the Year 11 class of 2023. At TISPC, we were very proud of the performance of our students. The highlights of these results are, 55% of the grades were at A* and A, with 87% of the grades between A* and C. These results are among the best results that the school has had, and shows the great effort and diligence that our students and teachers have put into these important school years.
Our congratulations to Year 11 of 2023, and we wish them all well for their studies in the future. All we ask is that they let us know where they go next as we would like to hear of their future successes.
Since we are at the start of a new academic year, we would also like to get the involvement of more parents through a Parent Teacher Friends group. This group is voluntary and helps support the school with feedback and ideas, and also supports the school in terms of CSR activities. Please watch your emails for more information about this, as I intend to start with an open discussion meeting shortly after CNY.
Vircle is the app that we use in the cafeteria for cashless payments. Please monitor your child’s use of the cashless system regularly and make sure that your child has a positive balance so that they can continue to purchase food. At this point I would also like to ask you to check if your child has an IOU in the app. If this is the case, then you will need to clear that IOU separately. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
School bookshop - Here is advance notice that the online bookshop will be closed over the CNY period from 9th to 14th February.
Have a great week ahead.
