As we have reached the end of Term 2, I know that the journey to this point has been one where we have been continually asking questions about whether this pandemic would continue to stop us from returning to the school campus for our lessons and exams. However, we have also continued to prove how robust and rigorous our response has been to this pandemic’s constraints. Excellent learning experiences have continued to be our drive and focus and it’s great to share with you just a couple of things that I can highlight from these past few weeks.

Blue House are looking strong at the end of this term, but with still one term to go, all this can change. I need to again thank all the teachers and parents involved in creating and participating in these enjoyable experiences that continually help us to become a united community for ongoing quality learning during these difficult times.
I also had the opportunity to chat with Year 6 students and parents over the past two weeks and it was great to have the opportunity to share with you about the plans for secondary and especially to share with the year 6 learners about the exciting opportunities that will come their way soon as they start to transition into the Secondary school.
Sadly we do have to say goodbye to two of our teachers this term Ms. Katherine Cooper who has led our English department for the last couple of years and to Ms. Azrina who has been teaching Science with us. We would like to thank you both for all your hard work and commitment over the past couple of years and wish you well in your next adventure.
Finally, I would like to thank all our learners who again have shown perseverance and determination in this ongoing difficult time. We are hoping to hear that in Term 3 we will be heading back onto the school campus for our lessons, where face-to-face learning will bring back that extra dynamic to the learning environment. We will obviously keep you all updated as the guidelines for this become more clear.
