Gong Xi Fa Chai
I would like to wish everyone and especially our Chinese community a very happy lunar new year. It has been a challenging two years and I really do hope that 2022 is the start of everything coming back to normal.
It has been so good to walk around the campus and see and hear children learning in school again. Their presence makes the school come alive, I just hope schools can remain open.
You have seen from previous communications from me, that the school has had a small number of positive cases, which is to be expected with the population of people on the campus each day. You will also have seen that the school is closely following the SoPs and we are being very careful with keeping everyone on the campus as safe as possible.
An important reminder to parents, about monitoring your children. If they have any symptoms of illness, then please keep your children at home.
IGCSE results 2021Massive congratulations to all of last year’s Year 11, for the fantastic IGCSE results from November 2021. These students achieved 57% A and A*, and 85% A* to C. All this when these students spent the majority of Y10 and 11 learning from home. Simply superb!
Over both campuses, we had 53 students who scored all A or A*, which is tremendous news. Hopefully we will also have some “Top in Malaysia” awards as well, but we will need to wait to find that out.
Stay safe.
