“What a great two weeks the school has had”
Sports days were held for all the year groups, for the first time since 2019. It was a delight to see students enjoying the events, the air of excitement was superb. These events were made all the more better by seeing many parents coming to encourage and support their children. Well done to everyone involved, especially the PE team for organising and arranging everything.
Ocean week, and its final assembly was an equally memorable event mainly because the assembly was the first time in many years that the school has had the whole school together. This was made even more relevant, as the theme was the damage we are doing to the oceans by putting rubbish, especially plastics into the ocean. The message was clear, we need to act now to clean up our oceans and planet.
These are two examples of the school getting back to the ‘old normal’. I look forward to more out of classroom activities in the future.
A reminder to parents to make sure that when you come to school, that you wear your school ID, for entry. If you have mislaid your tag, please contact Admissions, and they will be able to create a replacement tag for you.
Some more exciting news, in the Primary school, we have taken the opportunity to expand the Senior Leadership Team. I am delighted to announce that this month, two more Primary Assistant Heads have been appointed at TISPC. Ms Shusan and Ms Patricia are Year Leaders at TIS Puchong who have really supported their teams and the families in their departments greatly. We were impressed by their commitment to the school’s vision and mission. Ms Shusan will take on the role of Assistant Head (Academic Operations) and Ms Patricia is Assistant Head for Teaching and Learning. The appointments are immediate, and they both are continuing with their Year Leader roles concurrently. So please join me in congratulating both of them on this exciting opportunity to create a diverse team to lead the Primary school to further successes.
