Dear parents,
I write this newsletter to you to welcome you back for Term 2. I am looking forward to this term for so many reasons, not least because we as a community have shown incredible resilience and persistence in the face of this pandemic. It is an experience I posit, that is causing us to growing together closer.
As you know, at the start of the school holidays one of our Primary staff was diagnosed as being positive. I can tell you know that the staff member has been quarantined and will return to school once the all clear is given by the MOH. I want to stress that no-one else tested positive. Contact and trace methods were implemented immediately and we quickly got other staff members tested as well as alerting relevant classes where contact had occurred. All other people who have been tested have been negative and I have not received reports of any students being positive. This indicates that our SOPs and our contact and tracing are sound, however, we will always continue to be vigilant and to act quickly. I reiterate once again that we are complying very strongly with all the SOPs, that the Ministry of Education has given us the all clear three times now, and the school is safe to return to on Monday and I look forward to welcoming you back then.
When you return in Monday, I ask you to please all to complete the health declaration form. I know you have done it before, but this is a requirement from the Ministry of Health.
Thank you for your support and please do get in touch with us if you have any questions.
