Dear parents,
I open this newsletter with the good news that we are finally coming back to school. The Government has set some restrictions that we need to comply with where we have to meet 50% capacity and which may mean that we have to rotate classes, this remains to be seen.
This is the reason why I have asked you to fill in the questionnaire that the school sent out yesterday. So this newsletter will serve as a reminder for you to please fill in that one simple question and return it to us as this will be very useful to us in ascertaining our plans.
I need to underline that in coming back, our TIS Puchong staff are fully vaccinated and we will continue to robustly implement all health measures and SOPs to ensure the safety of all. I ask for your cooperation in all of this for the last two weeks or so of term. There will be further information from each of the sections regarding the procedures for our students next week.
The Year 11 students’ exams have continue smoothly and safely now into the third week. The students have been very focused and despite the challenges of doing exams under pandemic conditions have acquitted themselves very well indeed.
It just remains for me to wish you a safe and restful weekend and the week after Happy Deepavali.
Best wishes,
Stefano Piumatti
Principal of Taylor’s International School Puchong
