This week has unfortunately been taken over by the haze but that hasn’t dampened our spirits with a few of our older teams continuing to train with next week's KLISS tournaments in mind and new exciting lessons added to the curriculum.
The haze has dominated this week's Sports team trainings and PE lessons, with the majority for our lessons and sessions taking place indoors. However, we have not let that deter us from teaching levels to as higher standard as possible. We have introduced some High Intensity Interval Training to our curriculum in MPR5 which improves students stamina, technique and speed. This has proved to be a big hit and will continue to be used when the haze increases to a dangerous level.
Next week our tournaments begin, with our Football under 15 boys and girls travelling to KTJ International School for their KLISS fixtures. We also have Netball preparation matches at Australian International School and fixtures against Epsom College.
Information regarding the Sports Awards for both Primary and Secondary in November will be updated in both the 'taylors.lightning' instagram account and next week’s newsletter.
