It was a pleasure to see our primary students participating in their first Physical Education lessons since mid-March this week. With the emphasis being on their safety and enjoyment, all necessary precautions have been taken.
From Monday onwards our primary classes have taken part in Badminton, Outdoor adventure activities and Health-related Fitness. To see them so excited and ready for their PE lessons to commence once again after these unprecedented times was a joy to behold. Next week their PE lessons will continue in this vein.
Secondary classes have also continued this week with a rich enjoyment and students are beginning to feel back to normal, although there are still sports we cannot conduct which include Basketball, Football and all the contact sports. Next week swimming lessons for the appropriate classes will resume for secondary students who have been informed of this.
On the sports front it is likely that AIMS fixtures will be cancelled for this term with a view of starting it up again in January 2021. We are actively keeping a close eye on developments in KL Sports League.. If we could fit in a Badminton tournament this term then we will do everything we can to ensure that possibility is looked into. Training for sports teams will not resume for now, apart from Athletics, but we are hoping for them to carry on at some point in October.
