Dear Parents
Let me start this week's newsletter by asking you for a favour. The annual survey link (
https://bit.ly/36opwaD)has been sent to you and I implore as many of you as possible to go to this link and do the survey. We would really like your feedback to know about areas that we need to improve on as a whole. It is a short survey and should take no longer than half an hour, and your completion of it would mean a lot to me, to give us your views on what you liked and did not like during the year. The more feedback we receive, the better.
This is the penultimate newsletter of the year and I am hoping and praying that in the next few days, the Government will announce that we will be allowed to return to school for the last two weeks of this term. This would be a good ending to what has been a tumultuous year. However, if this does not happen, we will continue with the online teaching and learning and each sector of the school will inform you of the end of year routine. For example, at the moment, we have been busy planning for two types of graduation for Year 11 - one would be a graduation at school, and the second option would be an online graduation. Also in planning and well ahead of schedule of course is the new school year 2021 which is around the corner.
Meanwhile online lessons are continuing as you know and I have witnessed some very good lessons where the students are engaged, they are learning and they are enjoying the variety of activities that have been presented by the teachers. Again, I have to take my hat off to our teachers for their organisation and hard work, and again I thank you for your constructive comments on this area - another reason why I would welcome your help with completing the survey.
Have a lovely weekend.
