Dear Parents,
Welcome to this week’s newsletter.
It’s been just so nice in these last three days to go back once again to normality. Yesterday I had the pleasure of sitting in on the various presentations created with the theme and Key of Excellence “Speak With Good Purpose”. There were some thought provoking offers from the students from role play to short videos made by students with their pithy message on being careful with words. Another highlight this week was the winning of the Division 1 Championship by the U9 Boys and U11 Girls at Alice Smith in football. Congratulations to them all and the PE teachers who tirelessly train them and guide them.
As you saw from my recent letter in regards to Covid-19 we have now added Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea to our list of countries and we are not accepting walk ins from these regions. On top of this we are continuing robustly the screening of all visitors. Our main priority is to maintain our school as a safe haven for our students, parents and staff. We are continuing all procedures and we are continuously monitoring the situation.
Further to this is the update that due to the situation, our Quantum Learning workshop "Are You Raising Your Child Ready?" that was scheduled on 14th March 2020 has been postponed. However, please do keep a lookout on this space for the upcoming date.
Lastly, I want to say that I am deeply appreciative to all of you and to the PTF who were of great assistance last week with the burning issue. Yesterday I met with the PTF and personably expressed my gratitude to them. Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding for this and for last week’s issues.
All the best and have a good weekend.
Thank you
Kind regards
