Dear Parents,
The good news is that finally the MOE has informed us that we can start preparing for a return to school. The news has just come out, is being disseminated and in the next few days more details will be forthcoming. We will let you know as soon as we can. I, like you I am sure, am looking forward to going back to school and recommencing a modicum of normality. It is most likely that only some years will be allowed back in to start with and therefore online learning will continue for the other years. It is important that we keep up with this and the procedures established as best as we can. Therefore, I ask a favour of you to remind your sons and daughters of the importance of attending the A.M. registration at 07.45. This is important as it counts towards their attendance profile and will be in their reports. I have some sympathy for you as I know how hard it must be to get students up in the morning but it is vitally important to keep the routine up. This has been proven to be beneficial in these lockdown times.
Replacement Days A reminder that Monday 8 June, this coming Monday, is a public holiday so there will be no online classes. Furthermore, on the school calendar, you will see that 29 and 30 June have been scheduled as staff training days. The school has decided to use these two days as extra teaching days – replacement days – for the two days lost with the illegal burning in February.
I want to end by saying thank you for your continuing support and encouragement in these very peculiar times. I am looking forward to the day when I see your smiling faces again.
All the best
