A Focus on Continuous Professional Development for Teachers- Our teachers are committed to continuous professional development and participated in the Quantum Learning Excellence Training (QLET) where they gained insightful strategies to create joyful, meaningful, and challenging learning experiences for our learners.
- Our School Leadership Team is now certified in Mental Health First Aid, further strengthening our commitment to student well-being and a supportive, caring school environment.
Community Engagement- It was a pleasure connecting with supportive parents during the Key Stage Parent Forums, where we reaffirmed our shared commitment to enhancing the overall experience for our children.
- At the BM/Mandarin information session, teachers shared curriculum highlights and practical home support strategies, strengthening the partnership between school and families.
Empowering a Smooth Transition to University Success
- We are proud to share that our 2022 alumnus, Kayato, has received conditional offers from Cambridge University and UCL. Now an IB Diploma scholar at Nexus International School, Kayato earned two Top in the World Outstanding Cambridge Awards in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics during his time at TISPC.
- Our strong partnership with Taylor’s University supports a smooth transition to higher education. Upcoming events like the Higher Education Fair (March 27), Careers Week, campus visits, and guidance sessions will help students and parents explore post-secondary pathways with confidence.
Sports HighlightsThis term, student sports participation rose by 6%, reflecting our commitment to an active, inclusive school culture. Our students also excelled in AIMS, MSSD, and KL Sports League competitions across various sports, including Football, Basketball, Swimming, Athletics, and more.
- Under-11 Football: Clinched the championship with a strong 4-1 victory over TIS Kuala Lumpur on home ground.
- Under-13 Basketball: Won the AIMS tournament after hosting and defeating TIS Kuala Lumpur in a thrilling final.
- Netball Squad: Of the 12-0 win over Epsom and a 12-8 win over King Henry VIII, securing their champion status.
Students LeadershipWe proudly congratulate the newly elected members of the Primary Student Council, Year 6 Student Ambassadors, and Secondary Student Committees—including the Student Voice, Learning, Enrichment, Care, and Sports & Performing Arts Committees. These student leaders play a vital role in shaping a positive school culture, and we look forward to the energy, ideas, and initiative they will bring to our community.
Competitions Student achievements continue to be a source of pride, reflecting not only their talents but also the resilience and determination gained through competitions.
- UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge
TISPC proudly took part in the prestigious UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, a global competition involving over 700,000 secondary school students. Among our 34 participants, an impressive 15 earned Gold, 11 Silver, and 2 Bronze awards—showcasing their outstanding mathematical talent on the international stage.
- Kuala Lumpur Senior Mathematics Competition (KLSMC) 2025
The KLSMC challenged students with advanced problem-solving, logic, and strategic thinking beyond the classroom. More than a test of skill, it fostered teamwork, critical thinking under pressure, and peer collaboration. Our Year 11 students stood out for their resilience, teamwork, and mathematical excellence—capped off with a well-earned celebration of their efforts.
- Year 5 AIMS Maths Challenge
Congratulations to our amazing Year 5 students who proudly represented TISPC at Marlborough College! They showed outstanding teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving skills, excelling in every challenge with agility and collaboration.
