Natalie Andrina Petrus holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counselling from Monash University Malaysia and a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Psychology from HELP University. She is a licensed and registered counsellor under the Board of Counsellors of Malaysia. She is also a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist (ASDCS) and a PEERS® School Based Certified Provider that focuses on providing evidence-based social skills treatment to preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems.
Natalie often likens counselling to cooking. The first time can be a little messy, and the process takes a lot of courage, being open to learning and growing are key ingredients and it is much easier when you have a helping hand. She believes that recipes are merely a framework to cooking any dish. Hence, she strives to make counselling sessions a safe place that embraces your individuality and personal strengths by using the ingredients you already have in your kitchen and finding a good blend with them whilst also supplying you with the right tools to assist you in the process of creating a dish you’re proud of.
