- The Vircle launch went very well.
Dear Parents and Guardians
Thank you to all the parents who have registered for Vircle. This week’s launch went very well and the number of students needing vouchers to buy food has steadily decreased over the last few days. We have had some great feedback about this new cashless system, with parents commenting how easy it is to use, and the control it gives them. You can now transfer money to your childs card, set spending limits each day and see a record of what your child is purchasing, all from your phone.
For parents who have yet to register, please see the information sent to your school email accounts. In the future we will extend Vircle payments to the school bookshop, school trips and similar lower cost items, again to make it easier for parents to make these payments. A reminder that any outstanding balance from the ‘old’ system will be credited to your Vircle account in September, once we have the majority of parents on Vircle.
Next week sees the Primary school performing on stage for their annual musical - “Fantasy World”. Please see the communications from Primary should you want to get tickets for these events. I am looking forward to seeing our talented students perform, and also being able to support others who are in need, with charity donations (#Care for Others)
In the Secondary school, the Year 11 trial exams have come to an end. This is a very useful touchpoint for students to see how their preparation is going before the final IGCSE papers in October and November. As Gary Player, a famous South African golfer is quoted to have said “ the harder I practise, the lucker I get!”.
As always, stay safe.
