The 2019 / 20 Sports Season was one littered with disruption. From the haze and thunderstorms of season 1 (Aug-Nov), to COVID-19 bringing season 2 (Jan-April) to an abrupt end in March and then season 3 (April-June) not even taking place, it could be for many one to forget. However, that would take away the good times had by many teams throughout the year.
Highlights include the O15 Mixed Badminton team winning the AIMS Championship, the U14 Girls Basketball beating all comers to be crowned the Champions of the ISKL Invitational as well as many KLSL triumphs.
The PE and Sports Department also recently held their annual Sports Awards, but this time with a little difference. Due to SOP’s both had to be held online, denying the students their night of glamour.

Well done to all the winners and nominees (presentation can be found on all Year 3-11 Google Classrooms) and thank you once again to everyone who has represented Team Thunder these past 12 months.
As for the 2020 / 2021 season, we do have a full fixture list starting in September, however at present we are unsure how this will play out due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
When we do finally take part, we will be part of the new combined AIMS League which will see us playing against former ISAC schools like ISKL, Alice Smith, GIS, MKIS, elc, AISM and Sunway on a much more regular basis.
All the PE staff wish you a safe summer holiday and hope that you manage to keep up your fitness just in case competitive sport is allowed when we return at the end of August.
