Now we are at the end of the 2019 school year, we can look back through the Yearbook, and Facebook to reflect on what a busy and successful year it has been.
The last two weeks in school has been a focus on the year to celebrate with students what they have achieved. The Primary and Secondary Celebration events took time to recognise students who have shown the RECIPE core values, and who have been good examples to others. The Secondary Celebration evening also gave the opportunity for parents to see student led demonstrations of what happens in each of the subject areas.
Our graduating class of Year 11, celebrated their final IGCSE papers a week ago, and then graduated on the last day of school. There was such a great feel to this event, with students who have spent in many cases the last ten years of their life together, coming together to share great memories. We saw them come as young children and we watched them leave as young adults ready to take on the world.
We had a number of other students leaving the school, as well as a small number of teachers. On behalf of the school, I would like to wish all these people, all the best in the future and to not forget their time at this school.
Also in the last week of the school, we passed a cheque for over RM35,000 to MAKNA from the Food and Games Carnival. Thank you to the Student Council and all the students for creating a really successful day in September, when everyone came together, had a really fun time with lots of food, and ….oh yes…. Generated a lot of money for charity. Thank you to everyone for your generosity. When you look at the Primary and Secondary sections of this newsletter you will see reference to many other events of the last few weeks of the school year.
The year has come to an end, and what a great year it was. I would like to wish everyone a safe, relaxing break and I look forward to seeing everyone back in school on the 8th January.
Happy New Year

A number of parents have had difficulty logging in using their handphone, and are seeing error messages. Please make sure that you use your school family email to enter the parent portal. You can do this by switching to your family email before clicking on the parent portal.
SBL have created a CARE LINE to help parents if they have any problems logging in. This could be purchasing questions, setting delivery times and dates, or exchanging any wrongly purchased items (or wrong sizes). The number for this is 011-26637787
The bookshop staff will be stationed in Reception to help parents with on-line purchases and to try out the sizes of uniform with the display samples. The staff will be there from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday to Friday.
