This is me!
What excitement there was on Friday in the school hall, when Early Years students, parents and teachers gathered for the exit point to ‘This is Me!’
Parents volunteers joined Ms Jo on stage to lead an energetic zumba session, followed by a range of activities linked to the learning in this unit. Dressing up races, Blind Man’s Buff, brushing the giant tooth and ‘tarik upih’ were popular with children and adults alike.
We were delighted to see so many Mums, Dads and grandparents joining the event.
Reading for Fun
We are looking for volunteer parents or grandparents to read to Year 1 classes on Fridays from 12noon- 12:25pm. No experience necessary! Occasional or regular volunteers welcome! Apply to your child’s class teacher.

Students in Year 1 were learning about number bonds within 10, using a variety of hands-on methods for developing their numeracy skills.
