The IGCSE examinations have started for Year 11, and so we must be fast approaching the end of the school year. As usual these exams are taking place in the school hall and on the 7th floor. We have well over a thousand individual entries for this exam session, so it will be busy.
I will ask for everyone to respect the "silence" banners situated near the hall. Our Year 11 students have invested a lot of time and effort into their studies and we would like to give them all the right conditions to show their capabilities. Good luck to them, but as Arnold Palmer, the golfer has said "the more I practise, the luckier I get".
A reminder that the school is closed on Monday through to Wednesday for the Deepavali Celebrations. I would like to wish everyone a peaceful and enjoyable festive period with school starting again on Thursday 31st October. Please spare a thought for the Year 11 students taking English Language and Geography who will be in school taking exams during this period.
