Please stay safe and healthy next week during the school holiday, with online lessons resuming on Monday 1st June.

A reminder that just before the MCO was announced in March, the date for the Agong’s birthday was changed. The public holiday associated with the Agong’s Birthday has moved from Saturday 6th June to Monday 8th June. Many people will possibly not realise this with all the changes that have happened due to the MCO.

And finally, a reminder from last week, that TIS has been recognised as the first school worldwide to be given the Distinguished School Award by Quantum Learning from the US.

This has been the culmination of many years of hard work by teachers in the school to make their lessons and teaching be in line with the way that children learn. This means that the impact of the lessons is greater. I have written about Quantum Learning many times in the past, and some parents have seen Mark Reardon, our US consultant talk about Quantum Learning. Even with the current online learning, you can see Quantum Learning ideas in place. It is such a shame that with the CMCO, we cannot celebrate this in a more public way.
