It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome our new students and their families to the secondary school. We are also very happy to welcome back our returning students and families.
As the new school year gets underway we deliver our message of supporting each other. Our first school assemblies focused on having a sense of belonging and the concept of “family” with us all working together harmoniously.
It is evident that our students and teachers have settled quickly with a sense of positivity, while taking time to catch-up with friends after the holiday. In our endeavour to provide the best for our students we look to bring our core values of Respect, Excellence, Communication, Integrity, Passion and Enjoyment into all our practices. Additionally, in collaboration with Mindvalley, our Key Stage 4 students will have enhanced opportunity for personal growth through online courses and effective use of assembly times. The secondary school’s new assembly structure will better support positive, all-round educational outcomes for each of our students.
We have a ‘meet the teacher’ evening for families of year 7 students coming up on February 13th. It is an opportunity for you to find out from your child’s teacher how they have settled into their new classes and environment. I would like to point out that subject grades, forecasts and academic progress will not be reported during this event.
I wish you all the very best for 2020 and look forward to continued success here at Taylor’s International School.
