I am delighted to announce the permanent appointment of Mr Ariff Ermizie as class teacher in Year 5. Mr Ariff has been in Class 5A since January, in a temporary position. We welcome him into our family. A number of new students started their journey with TISKL last week and we wish them a happy and successful experience in school.
House Point Winners
Every month in the Early Years and Primary school, we will be counting the House Points gained. The winning House will receive a reward. For the March points, Green House were the leaders. The 200 students went wild during an extra 15 minutes of play! April’s winners will be announced in assembly next week.
IPC Personal Learning Goals
Since the beginning of the year, the students have been learning about 8 of the IPC’s goals, some of which coincide with our RECIPE. We have switched Morality for Integrity to avoid confusion. Class 6O came up with an interesting mnemonic to remember the Goals: Come, Come, Run, Run To An Interesting Event. See if you can work out how they came up with this clever and extremely useful memory tool.
From this week onwards, parents will be encouraged to work with their child on some of the Personal Learning Goals in Home Learning related to the IPC unit of learning.
