Selamat Berpuasa and Selamat Hari Raya!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to wish our Muslim community “Selamat Berpuasa”. I know that this is a very special time of the year, and a time for reflection.
The end of the school term is approaching and it has been a very busy and successful term. It is so good to see students involved in the normal activities of a school and without the restrictions that were in place for the pandemic.
Our activities this term has been very impressive :-
- we have had various workshops for parents to help understanding with our new Primary literacy programme “reading for writing” and numeracy programme “White Rose Maths”,
- many IPC exit points, an IPC recognition visit to review our use of the IPC and IEYC programmes
- AIMS sports competitions have restarted
- Secondary held a very successful Sports day
- Primary trips and Secondary team building activities
- The school’s Performing Arts team has played at the Intermark Mall, the Pavilion Mall, KLIA1 and KLIA 2, and also the Stock Exchange for Chinese New Year and now some of the same places for Raya.
- Very successful CSR project to raise money for the Earthquake in Turkey. Here I would like to thank again the great work of parents and students in raising this money.
- And of course lots of lessons and great learning experiences.
Having written that, it has also been quite a long term, and so our students will welcome the term break which starts on 15th April. So at the end of next week, I would like to wish everyone a peaceful and relaxing term break and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday 8th May.
Stay safe.
