- We won the Trusted Brand Gold Award once again!
Dear Parents and Guardians
This week the MoE and MoH have reviewed their procedures for the current heatwave guidelines. I wrote to all parents yesterday to announce these changes but essentially it means that we can now return to outdoor activities like PE lessons. However we will monitor the situation each day and will be including more breaks in the shade to get drinks and to cool down if necessary. Any parent who is not comfortable with this change, can let their child's class/homeroom teacher know, and then their child can be excused from the outdoor activities.
At the same time we are monitoring the air quality (haze) and will adjust break times and activities based on the AQI readings.
I am very proud to announce that for the sixth year running, the Malaysian public have voted Taylor’s International Schools a Gold level trusted brand in the Reader's Digest 2023 survey. Thank you to everyone who voted for us, this vote of confidence from the public is great recognition of the superb efforts of the students and staff at both campuses. My congratulations to everyone at TISPC and TISKL.
Also this week, we announced to parents the forthcoming change of cashless payment systems which will happen in July. We will continue to use the existing ID cards for payment in the cafeteria but these will be linked to a phone app controlled by the parent called Vircle.
Information about this change will be emailed to your school email accounts and so please make sure that you monitor your email for this important change. Rest assured that any outstanding balance from the old system will be refunded to you in the weeks after the changeover.
For more detailed news about each section, please see the respective Primary and Secondary Journals.
