Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we reach the final stages of the 2024 academic year, the frequency of events and happenings has increased dramatically.

Thank you to all the parents who helped make the Deepavali event last week such a success. It was superb to see so many parents and students supporting the event and being proud of their culture and willing to share with others.

The IGCSE exams have now finished and Year 11 has finally come to the end of their learning journey with TISKL, or not quite yet, as we have their final Graduation ceremony this week. After many weeks, the exams have finally finished, and I would like to extend my thanks to Year 11 for the manner in which they approached these papers and also to the staff for the organisation behind the scene to make this all happen. On Thursday evening, Year 11 will gather in the school hall for their final time officially and we will celebrate their graduation. I would like to extend the best wishes of the school to Year 11 and wish them all the best for the future. It would be great if they came back to school in the future and told us what they were doing in the next stage of their learning journey.

On Wednesday evening, we have the Secondary Celebration evening. This annual event is designed to celebrate the achievements of our secondary students under the umbrella of our RECIPE core values. The Primary school celebrations will be held during the day on Wednesday. It is great to acknowledge and celebrate our students who are developing the skills and characteristics to Raise them Ready for the World of tomorrow.

SBL Bookstore:
Please be informed that we are planning to do a "roll-over" (Items in SBL E-Bookstore will be updated from 2024 Booklist to 2025 Booklist). Therefore, our E-Bookstore would be closed from 18 November to 1 December 2024 for us to do the updates.

Finally, I would like to wish everyone a peaceful, safe and relaxing holiday. For those students who are leaving the school, I hope that you take away great memories of the school and associated activities. For those of you who are returning, I look forward to seeing you all in January, ready for another exciting and busy year in 2025.
